Terms of use

Putaway is a Mac file-organizing app provided by Byungik Hyun (현병익) through Modoodle. Contact: kohana.manage@gmail.com.

Free and Pro

Basic organizing, previews, moving, renaming, copying, sharing, history search, undo, basic statistics, changing the watched folder, Finder Services and manually selected duplicate review are free. Free includes three project-folder shortcuts and three manual AI requests per day on supported Macs.

Pro adds automatic rules, ZIP unpacking and DMG extraction, prepared AI suggestions, unlimited manual AI requests, unlimited folder shortcuts, folder purposes and advanced statistics. A seven-day Pro trial starts on first use of a new installation; reinstalling does not restart it. The trial returns to Free without charging you automatically.

Price and license

Putaway Pro’s regular price is US$7.99 as a one-time purchase, with no subscription. Applicable tax may be added at checkout, where you can review the total before paying. Currency conversion and foreign-transaction fees are determined by your payment provider.

One personal license can be registered on up to three Macs you use. Do not share or resell the key or use it as a shared license for different people. Deactivate the old Mac before replacing it. If you cannot access that Mac, support can help remove its registration after verifying your order.

A one-time purchase means a non-expiring license to the purchased Pro features. It does not unconditionally include every future separate product, major version or perpetual support. Any separate paid product will be clearly distinguished before purchase. Your existing purchase will not be automatically converted to a subscription or charged again. Permanent compatibility with future operating systems cannot be guaranteed.

Payment, delivery and activation

Lemon Squeezy is the Merchant of Record for payment, receipts and tax. The operator provides the software license and support. Its buyer terms also apply to payment.

After payment, find your key in the receipt email or Lemon Squeezy order page and activate it in the Putaway Pro section of app settings. See the purchase and activation guide. Activation and periodic license verification require an internet connection. Temporary network failures preserve existing Pro access for up to 30 days after the last successful check, then the app returns to Free. A confirmed revoked or canceled key can lose Pro access when checked. Your files and organizing history are not deleted by this transition.

Requirements and file operations

Basic organization requires macOS 14 or later on Apple Silicon or Intel. AI requires macOS 26, an Apple Intelligence-compatible Mac and a ready on-device model. Buying Pro does not add AI support to unsupported hardware. AI suggestions may be wrong; review the name and destination before applying them.

Basic organizing centers on previewed file moves; automatic rules run when you enable them. Duplicate copies are only moved to Trash after your selection and confirmation, never automatically deleted. Undo requires the files and their locations, contents and permissions to remain recoverable. Emptying Trash, changes by other apps or disconnecting storage can prevent undo. Keep separate backups of important files.

Refunds, support and changes

Request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, with no reason required. See the refund policy. Statutory withdrawal rights and remedies for defects or non-delivery are not limited by that period.

Technical support is available by email. For errors, compatibility or file-operation issues, include app and macOS versions and reproduction steps. We request only information needed to help. Material changes or discontinuation will, where possible, be announced in advance on the website and in release information, with information about existing purchasers’ rights and remedies required by applicable law.

No exclusion of liability or restriction of consumer rights applies where prohibited by law. These terms do not exclude liability for fraud, intent or gross negligence, or mandatory consumer protection in your country of residence. Contact support first to seek resolution of a dispute; jurisdiction and governing law follow applicable law.
