Terms of Use

1. Provider and scope

ClipMoa is provided by Kohana (코하나), represented by Byungik Hyun (현병익). Business registration: 609-32-66080. Mail-order business registration: 2026-수원영통-1029. Contact: kohana.manage@gmail.com. Effective October 20, 2026. These terms cover the Mac app distributed directly through the official website and related support. Read before installing or using it; stop using the app if you do not agree.

2. Free, trial, Pro purchase and upgrades

Free features and an optional, user-started 14-day Pro trial are currently available; paid sales are being prepared. There is no card requirement, subscription, automatic charge or renewal. Free features remain available after the trial. Existing test records and existing boards/snippets above Free limits are not deleted.

Pro is planned as a one-time purchase through Lemon Squeezy. Regional reference launch prices are ₩24,900 / US$19.99 and regular prices are ₩34,900 / US$24.99. These regional prices are not currency conversions. The applied currency, taxes, final total and launch offer end conditions will be disclosed before purchase.

Use Mac Pro in your purchased major version without a time limit. This purchase includes 0.x test builds, 1.x and updates within that major version. Future major versions are optional paid upgrades. You can keep using your purchased version without upgrading or being charged automatically.

Activate on 2 personal Macs and deactivate an old Mac when replacing a device. Initial activation requires internet. Network errors during purchase checks alone do not remove purchased access. Refunded or revoked licenses cannot be used. Separate future cloud or AI services, iPhone/iPad apps and syncing are not included.

A perpetual right means no time limit on using the purchased version. It does not promise all future versions, updates or support forever, or compatibility with future macOS releases. New paid major upgrades will disclose their scope and price separately and remain optional. Support will provide a way to obtain the last available installer for your purchased version.

Paid sales will open only after purchase, cancellation and refund conditions are disclosed before checkout. Send refund requests with your purchase email and order number to support. Lemon Squeezy participates in refund processing; these terms do not restrict statutory withdrawal, refund or other consumer rights. Existing test use does not automatically become a paid purchase.

3. License and ownership

Kohana grants a non-exclusive right to install and use the official distribution on compatible Macs you control, subject to these terms. Ownership of the app, icons and Kohana’s other works is not transferred. Copied or stored content remains subject to its owners’ rights. These terms do not grant Kohana a right to collect, sell or train on your clipboard content. Included open-source components are governed by their own licenses, available in Settings under Open Source Licenses.

4. Responsible use

Use the app only on devices and content you are authorized to access, respecting copyright, privacy, confidentiality and workplace security rules. Do not use it to collect others’ data without authority, distribute malware, compromise services or bypass signing/security protections. These terms do not restrict conduct permitted by applicable law. Pause or exclude capture for sensitive tasks and check content and destination before pasting or sharing.

5. Compatibility and limitations

The target is macOS 14 or later; binaries include Apple Silicon and Intel code. Operation on every device/OS combination is not guaranteed. On-device AI depends on eligible OS, hardware, languages and Apple settings. There is currently no iPhone/iPad app or cloud history sync. Features and UI may change during testing. Source-app formats and permissions can prevent capture, search or pasting. ClipMoa should not be your only original storage or a secure vault for secrets.

6. Updates, changes and ending use

Updates are signature-verified and installed when you start installation. Recovery guidance covers known distribution conditions. Back up important history before updating. We aim to give advance notice of discontinued or materially reduced distribution/functions and provide export guidance. You may stop using and remove the app. Removing it does not by itself delete local history; separate data cleanup is needed. Copies already sent elsewhere must be managed in their receiving services.

7. Responsibility and statutory rights

The test version does not promise uninterrupted service, freedom from every error or recovery of all data. This does not exclude Kohana’s responsibilities under applicable law. Liability for intent or gross negligence and consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected. Report problems through support; reasonable correction/recovery guidance is provided where practicable. Statutory rights and lawful dispute-resolution procedures remain available.

8. Privacy, changes and contact

See the Privacy Policy for data handling. Material terms changes will be announced before taking effect, with separate consent when required. New paid conditions are not applied retroactively to prior free use. Contact the email above or visit Support for questions or dispute-resolution requests.
